The Lot 1999

The Lot is a 30 minute dramedy series that aired for 2 seasons and 16 episodes on the AMC from 1999 to 2001. It profiled the fictional studio Sylver Screen Pictures during the 1930s and the pursuits of its classic stars. The show was met with neither popular nor critical success but Jeffrey Tambor, Rue McClanahan, Linda Cardellini and Michael York all had notable recurring roles. The Lot also refers to a studio lot in Hollywood, California which was known for years as the Samuel Goldwyn Studio.

On the Lot is a short-lived reality show competition for filmmaking, produced by Steven Spielberg and Mark Burnett. The show, which aired on Fox, featured filmmakers competing in weekly elimination competitions, with the ultimate prize of a million-dollar development deal at DreamWorks. On the Lot premiered May 22, 2007, and aired Tuesdays. The show was initially hosted by Chelsea Handler but she quit early on; she later said, "I quit because I smelled the disaster happening before it did." She was replaced by Adrianna Costa. Initial episodes narrowed 50 semi-finalists down to 18 finalists. After the audition stage, the program was a one-hour show, in which movies were screened: Film Premiere. The next day featured half-hour episodes of viewer reaction, entitled Box Office. Viewers could vote each week for their favorite directors, which resulted in the elimination of the directors with the lowest vote totals. Votes could be made online at thelot.com, in addition to landline calls and Verizon text messages, and were permitted for two hours after the show. Originally scheduled for separate episodes on consecutive nights, the "Film Premiere" episodes eventually aired on Tuesday nights at 8:00PM/7:00PM CT, with voting results as part of the following week's episode, as of May 31, 2007. The show also aired in Canada, on People+Arts in Latin America, on FOX8 in Australia, on STAR Movies in Asia, and on STAR World in Pakistan, India and Israel. The show also aired on SABC 2 in South Africa from July 19 until early August, when it was removed from the schedule. From the 11 December 2008 SABC 2 begun broadcasting On the Lot once again.

Care Bears: Adventures in Care-a-lot 2009

Care Bears: Adventures in Care-a-lot is an animated television series by SD Entertainment, Cookie Jar Entertainment and Shari Lewis Enterprises that premiered on CBS's KEWLopolis line-up from September 15, 2007 to December 6, 2008, and is designed to be an immediate follow up to the movie Care Bears: Oopsy Does It!. It was the third Care Bears television series made and was produced by Sabella Dern Entertainment, the same company that made Care Bears: Oopsy Does It!. It features songs with music by Andy Street and lyrics by Judy Rothman. Along with the other shows in the KEWLopolis block, this series fulfills the federal "E/I" requirements.

I Get That a Lot 2009

I Get That A Lot is a reality television special originally created by Danny Harris occasionally airing on CBS, which sets up celebrities in everyday working class jobs. Hidden cameras are used to capture the reactions of unsuspecting customers and bypassers. When the celebrities are recognized, they deny their real identities and say "I get that a lot," until the end of the segment, at which time the cameras are revealed and they come forward about their identities. The first two episodes also aired internationally in Australia on Channel Ten. There is also a French version based on the format, named Sosie! Or Not Sosie?, produced by Carson Prod and aired on French TV leader TF1.

Lottery! centered around ordinary people who have won the lottery--all of a sudden becoming millionaires--and how it changes their lives.

The Lotus Eaters 1972

The Lotus Eaters is a BBC television drama made between 1972 and 1973. The series, written by Michael J. Bird, dealt with the lives of various British expats living on the island of Crete and their reasons for being there. The central characters were a married couple, Erik and Ann Shepherd who ran a tavern called "Shepherd's Bar". In the first episode, Ann was revealed to be a "sleeper agent" of British Intelligence with Erik having been a broken down drunk whom she was made to marry as part of her cover story. A clash with Soviet and Chinese agents resulted in both of them having to leave Crete. In the final scene on a plane leaving Heraklion airport, they have a partial reconciliation, since each is the only person the other can trust. The Lotus Eaters was filmed in the Cretan resort of Aghios Nikolaos and derived its title from the Lotus Eaters of Greek mythology, where those who ate the fruit of the Lotus tree lost the desire to return home. The series was also the first of the Mediterranean based dramas written by Michael J. Bird for the BBC. The others included Who Pays the Ferryman?, also set in Crete, The Aphrodite Inheritance set in Cyprus and The Dark Side of the Sun set in Rhodes.

Beryl's Lot is a British comedy drama about a woman approaching middle-age and embarking on a programme of personal development. It was written by Kevin Laffan, produced by David Cunliffe and Peter Willes, and directed by Derek Bennett and David Reynolds for Yorkshire Television and broadcast on ITV between 1973 and 1977. Beryl's Lot ran for 3 series and 52 episodes in total before its cancellation. The first two series each consisted of 13 one hour-long episodes, the third series of 26 episodes of 30 minutes.
